You can customize each Live Filter to get the look you want. When you select color correction filters, dialog boxes open containing controls to adjust color characteristics such as auto levels, brightness and contrast, hue and saturation, invert, curves, and color fill. When you select Bevel, Blur, Emboss, Glow, Shadow, or Sharpen filters, either a dialog box or a pop-up menu opens in which you can adjust the filter settings. When you select a blur or sharpen filter, it is applied directly to the object. Experiment with the settings until you get the look you want. To apply a Live Filter to selected objects:

Click the Add Live Filters button in the Property inspector, then select a filter from the Add Filters pop-up menu.
The filter is added to the Filters list for the selected object.
To apply a Live Filter so that it appears to affect only a pixel selection within an image, you can cut and paste the
selection in place to create a new bitmap image, select it, and then apply the Live Filter.
