Color Management panel The Color Management panel provides control over color-managed jobs. Options in this panel are available only if color management is enabled in Edit > Color Settings. 94 Even when color management is on, as in this example, some color management options may be unavailable if the targeted device doesn't support the options. (In the device-independent output path shown here, the target device is intentionally unknown.) Source space section Options in this section define the colorspace within which the document colors will be prepared for output. The Source Space section contains the following options: Document: Prepares to send document colors in the document's working colorspace as specified in the Edit > Color Settings dialog box. In most cases this is the correct setting. Proof : Prepares to send document color after translating it into the colorspace currently selected in the View > Proof Setup menu. This is usually used for special cases only, such as when the colors to be sent are different from both the working colorspace and the output device. One example would be simulating the current proof setup (such as U.S. Web Coated SWOP) on a proofing device.

panel are available only if color management is enabled in Edit > Color Settings.
Even when color management is on, as in this example, some color management options may be unavailable
if the targeted device doesn’t support the options. (In the device-independent output path shown here, the
target device is intentionally unknown.)
Source space section
Options in this section define the colorspace within which the document colors will be
prepared for output. The Source Space section contains the following options:
Document:
Prepares to send document colors in the document’s working colorspace as
specified in the Edit > Color Settings dialog box. In most cases this is the correct setting.
Proof
: Prepares to send document color after translating it into the colorspace currently
selected in the View > Proof Setup menu. This is usually used for special cases only, such as
