1.3.2 Innovative ASUS features CrashFree BIOS This feature allows you to restore the original BIOS data from a floppy disk (with the original BIOS file and the AwardBIOS Flash Utility) in case the BIOS file gets corrupted. This utility eliminates the need to buy a replacement ROM chip. See page 2-4 for details. ASUS EZ Flash BIOS With the ASUS EZ Flash, you can easily update the system BIOS even before loading the operating system. No need to use a DOS-based utility or boot from a floppy disk. See page 2-4 for details. ASUS C.O.P. (CPU Overheating Protection) The ASUS C.O.P. (CPU Overheating Protection) is a hardware protection circuit that automatically shuts down the system power before temperatures go high enough to permanently damage the CPU.
