34 Troubleshooting Troubleshooting If you encounter problems while using the DMS Local, please refer to the following troubleshooting tips to try to solve the problems by yourself. If the problem persists, please contact BenQ Customer Support for help. Problem Cannot connect to the display(s) Cannot power on the display via DMS Local Cannot add a display into DMS Local Solution Check the following: • Check the cable connection. Is the display correctly connected to the computer? • Is the display turned on? • Is the display's network setting correct? • Ensure that WOL (Wake-on-LAN) Settings is enabled on the display. • Ensure that the display is connected to the network via the LAN (RJ-45) port. Wake-on-LAN does not work over a Wi-Fi connection. • Update the database of displays (JSON) in DMS Local.

If you encounter problems while using the DMS Local, please refer to the following
troubleshooting tips to try to solve the problems by yourself. If the problem persists,
please contact BenQ Customer Support for help.

Solution
Cannot connect to the
display(s)
Check the following:
• Check the cable connection. Is the display correctly
connected to the computer?
• Is the display turned on?
• Is the display’s network setting correct?
Cannot power on the display
via DMS Local
• Ensure that
WOL (Wake-on-LAN) Settings
is
enabled on the display.
• Ensure that the display is connected to the network
via the LAN (RJ-45) port. Wake-on-LAN does not
work over a Wi-Fi connection.
Cannot add a display into
DMS Local
• Update the database of displays (JSON) in DMS Local.
