16 Operating Instructions Important Facts About Thread and Needles With the right combination of thread and needle optimum sewing results are achieved. Thread Needle, Thread and Fabric The thread is chosen according to use. For a perfect sewing result, thread and fabric quality play an important role. It is recommended to use quality brands. Cotton Thread • cotton thread has the advantage of a natural fiber and therefore is especially suitable for sewing cotton fabrics • if cotton thread is mercerized it will have a slight sheen Care must be taken when choosing needle and thread. The correct needle size does not only depend on the chosen thread, but also has to be wellsuited to the fabric used. The fabric weight determines the thread weight and needle size and point form. The thread is chosen according to use. For a
perfect sewing result, thread and fabric quality
play an important role. It is recommended to
use quality brands.
