HELP/TROUBLESHOOTING 24 HELP/TROUBLESHOOTING My HomeSurf Tablet does not turn on. • Make sure that the power adapter is securely connected • Make sure that you are using the power adapter that was included with your HomeSurf Tablet. • Make sure that the HomeSurf Tablet is turned on. See Switching on your HomeSurf Tablet on page 16 on how to turn on your HomeSurf Tablet. My HomeSurf Tablet does not recognize the memory card. • Make sure that you have inserted a certified memory card. • Make sure that you have inserted the memory card correctly. See Inserting a memory card on page 16 on how to insert a memory card. • With your memory card inserted, power off and reset the device. My HomeSurf Tablet shows a low-battery warning The HomeSurf Tablet is low on power and needs to be charged before you can use it. See Charging your HomeSurf Tablet on page 14 on how to charge your HomeSurf Tablet. I cannot access the web Check the wireless signal indicator in the status bar at the top of the screen. If there is no signal, you are not connected. For information about joining a Wi-Fi network, see Making a Wireless Connection on page 33. The display freezes or does not respond P Press and hold for 5 seconds to turn HomeSurf Tablet off and turn it on again. There is no sound coming from the HomeSurf Tablet • Unplug and reconnect the headset. Make sure that the connector is pushed in all the way. • The volume may be deactivated or set too low. See Set media volume on page 30 on how to adjust the volume on your HomeSurf Tablet. I can't open an attachment in an email The file type may not be supported. My HomeSurf Tablet does not turn on.
Make sure that the power adapter is securely connected
Make sure that you are using the power adapter that was included with your HomeSurf
Tablet.

My HomeSurf Tablet does not recognize the memory card.

I cannot access the web

P
for 5 seconds to turn HomeSurf Tablet off and turn it on again.
There is no sound coming from the HomeSurf Tablet
