4.21.4 Make a 3-way Conference Call The conference call feature allows one external call to be shared with the base and one handset or with two handsets . The three parties can share the conversation and no additional network subscription is required. Using a cordless handset: During an external call: 1. Follow Steps 1 to 4 in section 4.21.3. 2. Press and hold the key on the calling handset to establish the conference call. Either handset/base can exit the conference by pressing or replacing the handset on the cradle, leaving the other handset/base still connected to the external call. Using the corded base: During the external call: 1. Follow Steps 1 to 3 in section 4.21.3 (corded). 2. Press and hold the "*" key on the calling base to establish the conference call.
