Switching, Disconnecting, Emptying the, water

Note: The refrigerator compartment door could tilt through its own weight and loading the door with food, even if the appliance itself stands upright. The gap in the door is uneven at the top and bottom. q Remove the upper hinge cover (1). q Loosen the hinge screw (2). Do not completely remove the screw! Switching on the appliance Switch on the appliance according to the enclosed operating instructions. Disconnecting the appliance Disconnect the appliance according to the enclosed operating instructions. If the appliance is to be disconnected or stored at temperatures below freezing point, empty the water tank for the drinking water dispenser. Emptying the water tank in the appliance q Pull out the main plug. q Cut off the water supply to the appliance. q Remove the motor compartment cover from the rear of the appliance. q Unscrew the connecting cable (1). q Place a shallow waterĆcollecting tray (capacity approx. 0.8 gallons (3 litres)) under the connection valve. q Unscrew, drain and screw back hose (2) and then hose (3) on the appliance connection valve. Important: Do not mix up the hose connections! q After draining the water tank, reĆattach the motor compartment cover. Switch on the appliance and then turn on the tap. q Adjust the tilt of the refrigerator compartment door. q Tighten the hinge screw. q Fasten the hinge cover. 24
