Clear the error as described below and press the FF/Cont button to resume printing. Blinking LED Alarmr£q Paper r£q Alarmr£q Error Cover Open Paper jam Paper empty Ink r£q Alarmr£q Misfeed Ink Empty Action Close the top cover of the printer. Clear the paper jam referring to the next section "PAPER JAMS" and press the FF/Cont button if the printer does not automatically resume printing. Load paper in the printer referring to Chapter 2 and press the FF/Cont button. Reinstall the paper and press the FF/Cont button. Ink is empty. Add ink blocks into the printer and press the FF/Cont button. Filter r£q Alarmr£q No Maintenance cassette or Maintenance paper empty Maintenance paper is empty or Maintenance cassette is not installed correctly. Replace the maintenance cassette or re-install the cassette. If the following errors occur, the printer indicates the error by blinking the Alarm LED and printing the error message. Error Memory Full Action  Press the FF/Cont button to print the data remaining in the printer.  Reduce the resolution or reduce the complexity of your document.  Expand the printer memory by fitting a SIMM module. SIMM error Check that the optional SIMM is correctly installed.  Note If the printer does not operate as you expect it to, it is recommended to reset the printer or turn the printer off and then on again. If you still have problems, consult your dealer or our authorized service representative. 7-1
