Transporting the Machine Follow this procedure to avoid 4 Remove the cartridge. vibration damage to the machine when transporting it over a long distance. 1 Disconnect the power cord and all the cables from the back of the machine. 2 Close the paper delivery tray extension (A), and then the paper delivery tray (B) itself. NOTE - Always hold the cartridge by its handle. - To avoid exposing the cartridge to light, place it in its protective bag or wrap it in a thick cloth. 5 Close the cartridge cover. BA CAUTION Do not close the paper delivery tray without folding the extension first. 3 Open the cartridge cover by the notch (A). A NOTE Be careful not to get your fingers caught. Maintenance 8-15

Transporting the Machine
Follow this procedure to avoid

transporting it over a long distance.

Disconnect the power cord and
all the cables from the back of
the machine.

Close the paper delivery tray
extension (A), and then the
paper delivery tray (B) itself.
CAUTION
Do not close the paper delivery tray without
folding the extension first.

Open the cartridge cover by the
notch (A).

Remove the cartridge.
NOTE
–
Always hold the cartridge by its handle.

Close the cartridge cover.
