Message Description NO RELAY FUNCTION The remote machine does not support relay broadcasting. NO TONER CARTRIDGE PUT IN CARTRIDGE The machine has no cartridge. NOT AVAILABLE The selected setting is not available for this model. NOT REGISTERED No recipient is registered in the selected speed dialing button or code. No recipient had been registered for speed dialing when [Directory] was pressed. No dialing had been made when [Redial/Pause] was pressed. ORIGINAL DOC.JAM REMOVE ORIG. IN ADF There is a document jam. PAPER EMPTY LOAD PAPER (paper size) Paper has run out or there was a jam in the paper feeder. PAPER JAM There is a paper jam. OPEN CARTRIDGE COVER PAPER SIZE ERROR CHK PAPER SIZE The size of paper loaded in the machine does not match the paper size setting. PRN Err The data from the PC was not printed. Action Send the fax without using relay feature. Install cartridge. Skip the setting. Select a registered button or code. Register recipients for speed dialing. Press [Redial/Pause] only after dialing had been made previously. Clear the document jam. Load paper or clear the paper jam, and press [Stop/ Reset]. Clear the paper jam. Load the correct-size paper or change the paper size setting. Check if the software is installed properly or if the printer cable is properly connected. Troubleshooting 9-8
