Check that the master unit's flashready lamp is lit. 7 Check the performance. Fire a test flash from the master unit. X The slave unit fires. If it does not fire, check that it is placed within the transmission range (p.72). 8 Take the picture. Set the camera and take the picture in the same way as with normal flash shooting. If there is a fluorescent light or computer monitor near a slave unit, the presence of the light source may cause the slave unit to malfunction and fire inadvertently. The slave flash coverage is set to 24 mm. You can also set the flash coverage manually. If the slave unit's auto power off takes effect, press the master unit's test flash button to turn on the slave unit. 76
