Section 4 - Configuration Power Management The NAS Power Management feature allows you to manage power consumption. You can configure the drives to shut down while power remains constant to the device. The drives will power up again when data is accessed. Go to Management > System Management > Power Management. Hard Drive By HDD Hibernation, click Enable or Disable. Hibernation: Turn Off Hard From the drop-down menu, set the amount of idle Drives: time before the drives go into hibernation. Power By Power Recovery, click Enable or Disable. The Power Recovery Recovery feature will automatically restart your device Settings: after an unexpected shutdown due to a power failure. Fan Control Settings: The speed of the fan can be controlled from here. If you select Auto (Off/Low/High), the speed of the fan will vary, depending on the internal temperature of the NAS.
