Exercise care when handling the solid-state drive. CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the computer is in sleep or on state. Prerequisites 1. Remove the stability foot. 2. Remove the left and right side-panels. See "Removing the side panels". Procedure 1. Lay the chassis on the right side. 2. Locate the solid-state drive on the system board. For more information on the solid-state drive see "system-board components". 3. Remove the screw (M2x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board. 4. Prerequisites
1.
Remove the

Remove the left and right side-panels. See “

Procedure
1.
Lay the chassis on the right side.
2.
Locate the solid-state drive on the system board. For more information on the solid-state drive see “
system-board components
”.
3.
Remove the screw (M2x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
4.
Slide and remove the solid-state drive from the solid-state drive slot on the system board.
