WMM CTS Protect TX Power connect to it. WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) technology can improve the performance of certain network applications, such as audio/video streaming, network telephony (VoIP), and others. When you enable WMM, the access point will define the priority of different kinds of data, to give higher priority to applications which require instant responses. This improves the performance of such network applications. Enabling this setting will reduce the chance of radio signal collisions between 802.11b and 802.11g wireless access points. It's recommended to set this option to "Auto". You can set the output power of the wireless radio. Unless you're using this wireless access point in a very large space, you may not require 100% output power. This will enhance security (malicious/unknown users in distant areas will not be able to reach your wireless access point). Click "APPLY" to make changes take effect. The following message will appear: Click "CONTINUE" to save the changes but not apply them yet. This allows you to make further changes in the browser-based management interface, before applying them all at once. Click "APPLY" to restart the device and implement any changes. The device will restart itself. III-5-1. Security This device provides a variety of wireless security options (wireless data 53
