Note: It is very important to set up wireless security. Without security enabled, hackers or intruders may gain access to your local network and cause damage to your computers and servers. Tips: There are several things you can do to improve your wireless security. 1. Use complicated, hard-to-guess phrases as your security password. Use a random combination of letters, numbers and symbols. 2. Use WPA whenever possible. It's more secure than WEP. 3. Change your security password regularly. Select SSID If the device uses multiple SSIDs, you can select the SSID you wish to configure security settings for. Security Settings Here you choose the type of encryption you wish to use with this SSID. Disable When you select "Disable", wireless encryption for the network is disabled. This means anyone who knows the device's SSID can connect to it. 54
