The temperature light is flashing orange. I The projector is getting too hot. Turn it off and let it cool. Make sure the room temperature does not exceed 104 °F and there is plenty of space around and under the projector for ventilation. I The air filter may be clogged. Clean or replace it as described on page 59. warning Except as specifically explained in this User's Guide, do not attempt to service this product yourself. The temperature light is red. I The projector has overheated. Turn it off and let the projector cool for a few minutes, then turn it back on. Make sure the room temperature is not above 104 °F and there is plenty of space around and under the projector for ventilation. I The air filter may be clogged. Clean or replace it as described on page 59. I If the projector continues to overheat after you clean the air filter, the problem may be caused by damage to the cooling fan or internal circuits. Contact EPSON for help. You can unplug it or press the Power button to turn it on. The projector is warming up. Wait for the image to appear. The projector is operating normally. The projector is cooling down. You can't turn it back on (nor should you unplug it) until the lamp stops flashing and remains orange. Power is cut off because of an internal problem. Remove the power cord and contact EPSON for help. The lamp is almost burned out. This is a good time to replace it. See Chapter 5 for instructions. The lamp is burned out. Solving Problems
The
temperature light is flashing orange.
