4 Managing Print Jobs and Network Printing Your printer software includes several utilities for managing print jobs. You can use them to monitor your printer's status, set up large jobs to print later, and handle network printing. It allows you to print in the background while you continue to work on your computer and to hold jobs to print at a later time.
