3 Award (Phoenix) BIOS is supporting 3 HDD modes : CHS, LBA and Large. CHS For HDD 528MB & Supporting LBA (Logical Block Addressing) Large For HDD>528MB but not supporting LBA Note: Set to [Auto] , the system can detect the hard disk and select the HDD mode automatically. Suggest you select this option. ► Drive A This option allows you to select which kind of the Floppy Disk Drive is installed in your system. It can be [360KB, 5.25 in], [1.2MB, 5.25 in], [720KB, 3.5 in], [1.44MB, 3.5 in] and [2.88 MB, 3.5 in]. ► Halt On This category determines whether or not the computer will stop if an error is detected during powering up. All Errors No Errors All, But Keyboard All, But Diskette All, But Disk/Key Whenever the BIOS detects a nonfatal error, the system will stop and you will be prompted. The system boot will not stop for any errors that may be detected. The system boot will not stop for a keyboard error; but it will stop for all other errors. The system boot will not stop for a diskette error; but it will stop for all other errors.
