NOTE: When the HP Compaq dc7700 and dx7300 Business PC products launch, the only supported operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (SP2). RAID Configurations are only supported with this operating system. Hardware and firmware support is present to take advantage of the future Microsoft Vista operating system. Intel Matrix Storage Technology RAID software support for Microsoft Vista will be available at a later date. Recommended configurations
HP recommends factory configurations of the preinstalled RAID offerings for the HP Compaq dc7700 and
dx7300 Business PCs.
The preinstalled RAID offering is a RAID 1 volume of two identical SATA hard drives, and either two SATA
80GB/8MB cache or two SATA 160GB/8MB cache drives.
NOTE
: When the HP Compaq dc7700 and dx7300 Business PC products launch, the only supported
