TV tuner module NOTE: The TV tuner module spare part kit does not include a TV tuner module cable. The TV tuner module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 537857-001. NOTE: The TV tuner external antenna cable is available using spare part number 482900-002 (with PAL jack). Description DVB-T TV tuner module Spare part number 482899-003 Before removing the TV tuner module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 44). 5. Remove the primary hard drive cover (see Primary hard drive cover on page 46). 6. Remove the secondary hard drive cover (see Secondary hard drive cover on page 56). Remove the TV tuner module: 1. Disconnect the TV tuner module antenna cable (1) from the terminal on the TV tuner module. 2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×4.0 screw (2) that secures the TV tuner module to the computer. (The edge of the module opposite the slot rises away from the computer.) 3. Remove the TV tuner module (3). NOTE: The TV tuner module is designed with a notch (4) to prevent incorrect insertion into the TV tuner module slot. Component replacement procedures 57

Before removing the TV tuner module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

on page
44
).
5.
Remove the primary hard drive cover (see
Primary hard drive cover
on page
46
).
6.
Remove the secondary hard drive cover (see
Secondary hard drive cover
on page
56
).
Remove the TV tuner module:
1.
Disconnect the TV tuner module antenna cable
(1)
from the terminal on the TV tuner module.
2.
Remove the Phillips PM2.0×4.0 screw
(2)
that secures the TV tuner module to the computer. (The
edge of the module opposite the slot rises away from the computer.)
3.
Remove the TV tuner module
