Remove the following screws: (1) Two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws located in the back corners that secure the keyboard to the computer (2) Four Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws located in the battery bay that secure the switch cover to the computer (3) Three Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws located in the primary hard drive bay that secure the switch cover to the computer 3. Turn the computer display-side up, with the front toward you. 4. Open the computer as far as possible. 5. Lift the rear edge of the switch cover until it detaches from the computer (1). 6. Slide the switch cover back far enough (2) to access the keyboard screws. Component replacement procedures 61

Lift the rear edge of the switch cover until it detaches from the computer
