Bluetooth module NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 537857-001. Description Bluetooth module Spare part number 483113-001 Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 44). 5. Remove the primary hard drive (see Hard drive on page 48 ) 6. Remove the switch cover and keyboard (see Switch cover and keyboard on page 59). 7. Remove the speaker assembly (see Speaker assembly on page 65). Remove the Bluetooth module: 1. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (1) that secures the Bluetooth module to the computer. 2. Lift the Bluetooth module up (2) and release the Bluetooth cable from the routing channel (3). 3. Disconnect the Bluetooth cable from the system board (4). Reverse this procedure to install the Bluetooth module. 66 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

on page
44
).
5.
Remove the primary hard drive (see
Hard drive
on page
48
)
6.
Remove the switch cover and keyboard (see
Switch cover and keyboard
on page
59
).
7.
Remove the speaker assembly (see
Speaker assembly
on page
65
).
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw
(1)
that secures the Bluetooth module to the computer.
2.
Lift the Bluetooth module up
(2)
and release the Bluetooth cable from the routing channel
(3)
.
3.
Disconnect the Bluetooth cable from the system board
(4)
.
Reverse this procedure to install the Bluetooth module.
