5. Remove the service cover (see WLAN module on page 39). 6. Remove the hard drive (see Hard drive / Solid state drive on page 33). 7. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 43). 8. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 46). Remove the power button board: To remove the power button board, follow these steps: 1. Position the top cover upside down, with the front toward you. 2. Remove the screw (1) that secures the power button board to the top cover. 3. Lift up and remove the power button board (2). Reverse this procedure to install the power button board. TouchPad button board Description TouchPad button board (includes bracket and cable) Spare part number 636449-001 Before removing the TouchPad button board, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2.
