Remove the WLAN module, Pull the module to remove it from the socket

Remove the WLAN module: 1. Remove the plastic shield that covers the antennas where they are connected to the module (1). 2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the module (2). NOTE: The WLAN antenna cable labeled 1/MAIN connects to the WLAN module Main terminal. The WLAN antenna cable labeled 2/AUX connects to the WLAN module Aux terminal. 3. Remove the screw (3) that secures the module to the computer. 4. Pull the module to remove it from the socket (4). 5. If the WLAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, you must install a protective sleeve on the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration. To install the WLAN module, reverse the removal procedure. NOTE: WLAN modules are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion. 36 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Remove the WLAN module:
1.
Remove the plastic shield that covers the antennas where they are connected to the module

Disconnect the antenna cables from the module

NOTE:
The WLAN antenna cable labeled 1/MAIN connects to the WLAN module Main terminal. The
WLAN antenna cable labeled 2/AUX connects to the WLAN module Aux terminal.

Remove the screw

Pull the module to remove it from the socket

If the WLAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, you must install a protective
