Card reader To remove the card reader, use these procedures. Before removing the card reader, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 19). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19). 3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 22). 4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 24). 5. Remove the drive cage (see Drive cage on page 33). Remove the card reader: 1. Disconnect the cable from the system board (1). 2. From the inside of the chassis, remove the Phillips screw that secures the card reader to the system board (2). 3. Remove the card reader from the computer (3). To install the card reader, reverse the removal procedure. Speaker To remove the speaker, use these procedures. To remove the card reader, use these procedures.
Before removing the card reader, follow these steps:

Remove the access panel (see

3.
Remove the optical drive (see

4.
Remove the front bezel (see

5.
Remove the drive cage (see

Remove the card reader:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the system board

2.
From the inside of the chassis, remove the Phillips screw that secures the card reader to the system
