System Error Messages ZONE-TRANSCOMMIT Message Error ZONE-TRANSCOMMIT, 2, Transaction Commit failed. Reason code Probable Cause Request Common Transport (RCT) transmit error. Fibre Channel services share a common transport (CT) at the FC4 level. The CT provides access to services; in this case, to Directory Service, where the zoning information is stored and retrieved. This error means that one switch tried to commit zoning information to other switches in the fabric using RCT, but it failed. Recommended Action Collect the error information and then contact Technical Support. Severity Error ZONE-WWNINPORT Message Warning ZONE-WWNINPORT, 3, WARNING - WWN in HARD PORT zone . Probable Cause One or more devices are zoned as WWN (with WWN devices) and are also zoned as Port, Domain (with Port, Domain) devices. The devices are used to specify zone members over separate zones.
