Zoning Telnet Commands cfgRemove cfgSave cfgSize Function Display the size details of the zone database. Note: If you are running a 2.6.1 switch (1 Gb) and have a mixed fabric (switches running 3.1.x and/or 4.1.x), the cfgSize (maximum) from the 2.6.1, 1 Gb switches should be the maxumum for the mixed fabric. This is because all switches have to be able to hold the zoning configuration, so the maximum size becomes the size available in the switch with the least amount of memory, which is the 2.6.1 switch. Synopsis cfgsize [integer] Availability All users. Description This command with no parameters (or parameter 0) displays the size details of the zone database. The size details include the following (all sizes are in bytes): ■ Zone database maximum size-this is the upper limit for the Defined configuration, determined by the amount of flash memory available to store the Defined configuration. This is smaller than the flash memory size because it stores additional information about the database. ■ The committed size-this is the size of the Defined configuration currently stored in flash memory. ■ The transaction size-this is the size of the uncommitted Defined configuration. This value is nonzero if the Defined configuration is being modified by telnet, API, etc. Otherwise, it is 0. If a nonzero integer is specified as the parameter, the size of the flash memory allocated for the zone database is displayed. The zone database includes both the Defined and Effective configurations. This size is in kilobytes. 58 HP StorageWorks Zoning Version 2.6.1 User Guide

Description
This command with no parameters (or parameter 0) displays the size details of the
zone database. The size details include the following (all sizes are in bytes):
Zone database maximum size—this is the upper limit for the Defined
configuration, determined by the amount of flash memory available to store
the Defined configuration. This is smaller than the flash memory size because
it stores additional information about the database.
The committed size—this is the size of the Defined configuration currently
stored in flash memory.
The transaction size—this is the size of the uncommitted Defined
configuration. This value is nonzero if the Defined configuration is being
modified by telnet, API, etc. Otherwise, it is 0.
If a nonzero integer is specified as the parameter, the size of the flash memory
allocated for the zone database is displayed. The zone database includes both the
Defined and Effective configurations. This size is in kilobytes.
