18 Chapter 3 Table 3-2 Functions Menu Dialog Boxes Selection Description Get Terminal/User/Full Configuration and Put Terminal/User/Full Configuration selections Titles of the six selections are descriptive of the functions of the individual dialog box. • Get Terminal Configuration Get the configuration of terminal(s) as set up by the network administrator. Does not include individual or system user settings. The data is saved in the working directory SYSTEM folder. • Get User Configuration Get the configuration of terminal(s) as set up by the individual users. Does not include terminal configuration settings. The data is saved in the working directory USER folder. • Get Full Configuration • Put Terminal Configuration • Put User Configuration Individual users are accessed by prefixing "user@" to the hostname/IP address; otherwise, configurations for all users are obtained. Get the full configuration of terminal(s) as set up by the individual users and the network administrator. The data is saved in the working directory FULL folder. Install an administrator-level configuration on the terminal(s), as defined by a file (typically generated by Get Terminal Configuration) in the working directory SYSTEM folder. Does not include individual user settings. Install a user-level configuration on the terminal(s), as defined by a file (typically generated by Get User Configuration) in the working directory USER folder. Does not include terminal configuration settings. A configuration is installed for individual users by prefixing "user@" to the hostname/IP address; otherwise, a configuration is installed for all users on the terminal.
