Running the T1500/T1510 Client Manager Program 21 Admin Menu Selections The Admin menu (see Figure 3-3) has selections that allow you to shadow a remote terminal by launching the VNC utility, to discover terminals on the network, to shut down a selected terminal, to verify current software of a selected terminal, and to restore and upgrade the software of a selected terminal. Launch VNC Selection Launches the VNC Client utility. The dialog boxes are shown in Figure 3-8. The VNC Client utility is a program that allows you to "shadow" a terminal or another computer. Shadowing allows you, the client, to view the desktop of a remote (host) terminal or computer running the VNC Server software, and to operate the remote terminal/computer's keyboard and mouse functions from your desktop. The VNC utility is described in Chapter 4. Refer to Chapter 4 for the detailed description of the VNC utility. A detailed description is also included in the on-line help for the terminal.
