Displaying status during playback You have the option to view current information, such as titles and chapters on DVDs or tracks on CDs. The information will be displayed on the television screen and on the front panel display. The disc will display information similar to the following illustrations: 1 Press DISPLAY repeatedly to display the following status. DVD MP3 CD Playing MP3 and picture discs (JPEG/ KODAK) To play an MP3 or JPEG disc: 1 Load an MP3 or picture (JPEG) disc into the DVD receiver. The disc reading time may exceed 30 seconds due to the complexity of the directory or file configuration. 2 Playback starts automatically. The album/ picture menu appears on the TV screen. 2 Press DISPLAY again, to turn the display function off. Note On some discs the title number, chapter number, or time may not appear, or you may not be able to change the display. Setting the Sleep timer The sleep timer enables the system to switch to standby mode automatically at a preset time. To set the sleep timer: 1 Press SLEEP on the remote control repeatedly, until it reaches the desired turn-off time. • You can choose from the following (time in minutes): 15, 30, 45, 60, or OFF. 2 Press SLEEP once to show the remaining time before switching off. If you continue pressing SLEEP, the next sleep time setting appears. 3 To cancel the Sleep function, press SLEEP until OFF appears. Notes • If the sleep time has been set, the "SLEEP" indicator appears the display until your DVD receiver switches to standby mode. • The sleep time will be cancelled if you press STANDBY/ON, but if you press OPEN/CLOSE , the sleep function is retained. 3 Press / / / to select the album you want, then press ENTER or PLAY/PAUSE to confirm. You can also use the numeric keypad (0 ~ 9) to enter your choice. 4 To stop playback, press STOP. To play a KODAK picture disc: 1 Load a Kodak picture disc into your DVD receiver. The disc reading time may exceed 30 seconds due to complexity of the directory or file configuration. Playback starts automatically. 2 Press STOP and 9 thumbnail pictures appear on the TV screen. 3 Press NEXT ( or PREVIOUS ) to view the previous or next page (if available). 4 Press / / / to move within the menu, then press ENTER to select the desired picture to play. During playback, you can: • Press NEXT ( or PREVIOUS ) to select another title or picture in the current folder. • Press / / / to rotate or flip the picture files. • Press ZOOM to select "ZOOM ON" or "ZOOM OFF." In "ZOOM ON" mode, press FAST FORWARD or FAST BACKWARD on the remote control to zoom the picture in or out. • Press PLAY/PAUSE resume playback. to pause and www.insignia-products.com 15

Displaying status during playback
You have the option to view current information,

Setting the Sleep timer
The sleep timer enables the system to switch to
standby mode automatically at a preset time
.
To set the sleep timer:

Press
SLEEP
on the remote control
repeatedly, until it reaches the desired
turn-off time.
You can choose from the following (time in
minutes):
15, 30, 45, 60,
or
OFF
.

Press
SLEEP
once to show the remaining
time before switching off. If you continue
pressing
SLEEP
, the next sleep time setting
appears.

To cancel the Sleep function, press
SLEEP
until
OFF
appears.
Playing MP3 and picture discs (JPEG/
KODAK)
To play an MP3 or JPEG disc:

Load an MP3 or picture (JPEG) disc into the
DVD receiver.
The disc reading time may exceed 30
seconds due to the complexity of the
directory or file configuration.

Playback starts automatically. The album/
picture menu appears on the TV screen.

want, then press
ENTER

PLAY/PAUSE

Notes
If the sleep time has been set, the “SLEEP”
indicator appears the display until your DVD
receiver switches to standby mode.
The sleep time will be cancelled if you press
