Exit Screen Details Setup Item Discard Changes and Exit Save Changes Discard Changes Load Default Values Save as User Default Values Load User Default Values Description Exit the BIOS Setup Utility without saving changes. A confirmation prompt will be displayed before exiting Setup if any Setup values were modified. The compute module will not be rebooted. The [Esc] key can also be used. Saves changes without exiting the BIOS Setup Utility. Saved changes may require the compute module to be rebooted before taking effect. Discards all changes made since the last save change operation was performed without exiting the BIOS Setup Utility. The key can also be used. If Load Default Values is selected, the factory default settings (noted in bold in the tables in this chapter) are applied. The key can also be used. Discard Changes and Exit
Exit the BIOS Setup Utility without saving
changes. A confirmation prompt will be
displayed before exiting Setup if any Setup
values were modified. The compute module will
not be rebooted. The [Esc] key can also be
used.
Save Changes
Saves changes without exiting the BIOS Setup
Utility. Saved changes may require the compute
module to be rebooted before taking effect.
Discard Changes
Discards all changes made since the last save
change operation was performed without exiting
the BIOS Setup Utility. The <Esc> key can also
be used.
Load Default Values
If Load Default Values is selected, the factory
default settings (noted in bold in the tables in
this chapter) are applied. The <F9> key can also
be used.
Save as User Default Values
Saves current BIOS Setup Utility values as a
custom set of user-defined default BIOS values.
Note: Clearing CMOS or NVRAM will cause the
user default values to be reset to the factory
default values.
Load User Default Values
If Load User Default Values is selected, the
BIOS settings are restored to a previously saved
user-defined set of default values.
