Appendix 8 8.2 Entering text The following procedure describes how to use the keyboard that appears in the touch panel for typing in the names of registered users and custom paper sizes. The keypad can also be used to type in numbers. Any of the following keyboards may appear. Example Password input screen: Screen for entering the name of a custom paper size: Touching [Shift] switches the keyboard display between lowercase letters (numbers) and uppercase letters (symbols).
