The following screen explains the way to program the barcode definition: PSF Preferences menu • if length = 0 then the field is not used. • if length ≠ 0 then field is activated. The barcode definition has 5 fields and is like aaaabbccde. • aaaa = Job ID (reference number of the job). • bb = N° of the sheet of the booklet. • cc = Number of sheets in the booklet. • d = Check code: if length = 0 then Check code is not used. if length = 1 then Check code is activated to identify the sheet N used for N1 or 1N. The "Number of sheets per set" field can be desactivated. • e = Switch (end of subset): if length = 0 then Switch is not used. if length = 1 then Switch is activated to identify the end of the subset. This function can be used if the barcode is printed on the lower face of the sheet and so read into the conveyor. The barcode sheet counter can also be selected as N1 and 1N. • N1 : The cover is the LAST sheet fed and has the sheet number 1. This mode is the default mode for CP Bourg finishers (BDFE, BME,....). • 1N : The cover is FIRST sheet fed and has the sheet number 1. This mode is specific for Watkiss PSQ200 bookletmaker. The stitching head are from the bottom, so the cover is fed first, and afterward the content of the booklet.
