BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE Check the following before you call for service. Problem The power supply cannot be turned on. Solutions Check that the power switch is turned on. The power supply automatically turns off. This is not a failure. Robot Cleaner has its own power saving function. If it is not used for ten minutes after the power supply is turned on, the power will automatically turn off. The Robot Cleaner will not charge. ƬƬCheck whether the main power switch is turned on. ƬƬRemove objects around the home station. ƬƬConfirm that the power supply is connected to the home station. ƬƬWipe the charging terminals with a dry cloth. Suction power becomes weak. ƬƬCheck whether there is foreign material blocking the suction port. ƬƬEmpty the dust bin. ƬƬClean the dust bin filter. Noise becomes louder. The Robot Cleaner will not activate. ƬƬConfirm that the dust bin has been mounted properly. ƬƬConfirm that the dust bin filter has been mounted properly. ƬƬCheck whether foreign material is caught in the brush. ƬƬConfirm that the power switch is turned on. ƬƬConfirm that the battery has been charged. The lower brush does not rotate. ƬƬClean the brush. ƬƬConfirm that the brush has been mounted properly. Movements or travel path are abnormal. ƬƬCarefully wipe the sensors with a dry soft cloth. ƬƬIf the ultra microfiber mop is attached, confirm that it is mounted properly. ƬƬTurn the main power switch off and on. The Robot Cleaner cannot be activated with the remote control. ƬƬReplace the remote control batteries. ƬƬConfirm that the control is within the coverage area of the main unit, which is less than 3 m. ƬƬCheck whether the main power switch is turned on. The Robot Cleaner does not recognize the Magnetic Wall strips or bumps into an object even though it is surrounded by Magnetic Wall strips. ƬƬUse only the Magnetic Wall strip provided with the product or strips purchased from LG Electronics. The product may not recognize third-party magnetic strips. ƬƬIf using multiple strips to surround an object, make sure they form a continuous line with no gaps. ƬƬDo not overlap the ends of the Magnetic Wall strips. ƬƬThe Magnetic Wall strips must be placed at least 6 inches from the object you wish to protect. The Robot Cleaner bumps into the Magnetic Wall strip and moves it. ƬƬIf the Magnetic Wall strip slides on smooth flooring, use removable tape such as gaffer's or painter's tape to keep the strip in place. 65
