4. Ensure that the cover latch is in the open position. Place the server cover above the chassis so that the cover latch is aligned with the cover latch slot in the chassis. Then, lower the server cover onto the chassis until the cover latch is inserted into its slot and both sides of the server cover engage the guides on both sides of the chassis.
