2. To reinstall the rack handles, insert the small tab 1 on the rack handle into the hole 2 in the chassis. Then, align the screw hole in the rack handle with the corresponding hole in the chassis and install the screw to secure the rack handle on each side of the server. ID PSU Mem CPU Figure 37. Installing the rack handles Removing and reinstalling the cooling shroud The cooling shroud must be removed to allow access to most server components. This topic provides instructions on how to remove and reinstall the cooling shroud. This topic provides instructions on how to remove the cooling shroud. Before you begin, print all the related instructions or ensure that you can view the PDF version on another computer for reference. Note: Depending on the model, your server might look slightly different from the illustrations in this topic. To remove the cooling shroud, do the following: 1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the server. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the server.
