Print server light patterns The four indicator lights on the print server indicate activity, status, and errors, depending on the light pattern. Menu Test Normal conditions Indicator lights Ready The print server is waiting for data. Processing A print job is active. The lights cycle on and off, starting at the top and traveling down before reversing direction. off blinking off off Testing When the Test button is pressed, a network setup page is sent from the print server to the printer. off Updating flash code A flash file is being downloaded over the network. The print server is processing a Flash file. Do not turn off the printer while the print server is processing Flash - you may damage the firmware. blinking on blinks briefly off off then returns to Ready off off off off off off In the following illustration, each binary number corresponds to an error light sequence: 109
