3.4 COLOR MENU - Options Descriptions In the following an asterisk "*" indicates the default factory value. The selected value for each of these options can be printed; see Printing the Menu Settings Page on page 10. 3.4.1 Color Management This option allows disabling of all Color Management (including CMOCA). Ignore Color Management Settings* Use Color Management Settings Perform IPDS color management using the menu selections in Color Menu. Do not use the settings in this menu to control IPDS color management. The HL Mapping Table and OCA Mapping Table menu items can still be used to manage color output. Refer to section 6 Color Management - User Files on page 65 for more information on uploading user files. 3.4.2 User CMYK Profile This option controls whether a user uploaded CMYK profile should be used. Use as Source Profile* Ignore If no input profile is specified in the IPDS data the User Input CMYK Profile will be used. If no User Input CMYK profile is present in the printer, the IPDS assumes that the input color space is device CMYK. Refer to section 6 Color Management - User Files on page 65 for more information on uploading user files. Ignore the User CMYK Profile. The IPDS assumes that the input color space is device CMYK. 3.4.3 User RGB Profile This option controls whether a user uploaded RGB profile should be used. Use as Source Profile* Ignore If no RGB input profile is found applicable in the IPDS data or embedded in the RGB IPDS object, the User Input RGB Profile will be used. If a User Input RGB profile is not present, the IPDS assumes a SMPTE-C RGB as the default RGB input profile. 3.4.1 Color Management
