Use printer menus 196 Menu item Description Require All Jobs to be Held Set the printer to hold all print jobs. Off* On Keep duplicate documents Set the printer to keep all documents with the same file name. Off* On Note: An asterisk (*) next to a value indicates the factory default setting. Disk Encryption Note: This menu appears only when a hard disk or an intelligent storage drive is installed. Menu item Status Enabled Description Encryption happens automatically when a storage drive is installed. Erase Temporary Data Files Menu item Description Stored in onboard memory Set the printer to erase automatically all the data of a job from its memory after the Off* job is finished. On Stored on hard disk 1 Pass Erase* 3 Pass Erase 7 Pass Erase Set the printer to erase automatically all the data of a job from a storage drive after the job is finished. Note: This menu item appears only when a hard disk or an intelligent storage drive is installed. Note: An asterisk (*) next to a value indicates the factory default setting.
