Description of the functions Interior lighting To save energy, the oven compartment lighting has been set at the factory to turn off after the program has started. To turn the light on for a short time during operation, touch one of the inactive touch controls on the left or right hand side of the display. If you would like the oven compartment to be illuminated the whole time the oven is operating the factory default setting can be changed (see "Settings - Lighting"). If the door is left open at the end of a cooking program the oven lighting will turn off automatically after 5 minutes. You may find it helpful to turn the lighting on when you are cleaning the oven (see "Additional functions - Lighting"). The lighting radiates heat. When you are cooking at a temperature below 140°F (60°C), select the setting "on for 15 seconds".
