talkgroup calls A group call is similar to a Push To Talk call, but is made to all members of a Talkgroup at once. Before you can make or receive group calls, a Talkgroup must be established. After the Talkgroup is established, you must join the Talkgroup. joining a talkgroup Your sales representative or your service provider establishes talkgroups for you and assigns each Talkgroup a Talkgroup number. You can choose a name for each of your Talkgroups when you create entries for them in Contacts.
