Voice Volume The Voice Volume screen sets the volume coming out of your Smartphone's earpiece and speaker when you are in a call and at most other times. These settings do not control the volume of the sounds your Smartphone makes to notify you of phone calls, data calls, or messages. The volume of those sounds is set in Profiles.
