NETGEAR Mobile Broadband 11n Wireless Router MBR1310 From the main menu, select QoS Setup to display the following screen: Field Description Wi-Fi Multi-media (WMM) Settings WMM (Wireless Multimedia) is a subset of the 802.11e standard. WMM allows wireless traffic to have a range of priorities depending on the kind of data. Time-dependent information, such as video or audio, has a higher priority than normal traffic. For WMM to function correctly, wireless clients also need to support WMM. Turn Internet Access QoS On If you enable QoS, the QoS function works to prioritize Internet access traffic. For the applications that already exist in the drop-down list (for example, On-line Gaming, Ethernet LAN Port, or a specified MAC address), you can modify the priority level by clicking the Edit button, or clicking the Delete button to erase the priority rule. Otherwise, you can also define the priority policy for online gaming, an application, a LAN port, or the computer's MAC address by clicking the Add Priority Rule button in the QoS Priority Rule List screen (see QoS Priority Rule List on page 78). Turn Bandwidth Control On To set up the total maximum uplink bandwidth, click the Check button to detect current uplink bandwidth that will help you to determinate the maximum bandwidth setting.
