Factory Default Settings and Technical Specifications Factory Default Settings You can use the Restore Factory Settings button located on the bottom of your router to reset all settings to their factory defaults. This is called a hard reset. To perform a hard reset, press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button for 6 seconds.
