Attach the retaining clip included with your IP290 appliance to the power cord receptacle on the back of the appliance. 2. Connect the power cord securely into the power cord receptacle, and secure the clip to the cord. 00576 3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded power strip or wall outlet. 4. Toggle the power switch to the On position to provide power to the IP290 appliance. Caution To reduce stress on the power supply, after you turn the appliance on, wait at least ten seconds before you turn it off.
