More useful functions Panorama shooting 2 Make sure that the edges of the pictures overlap, then take the pictures. • The focus, exposure and white balance are set by the first picture. Do not select an extremely bright subject (such as the sun) for the first picture. • You cannot adjust the zoom after the first picture. • Panorama shooting is possible for up to 10 pictures. • When you have taken 10 pictures, a warning mark appears. 3 Press e to exit panorama shooting. 5 Note • The panorama mode is only available with Olympus cards. • Your computer's memory may be insufficient if you take too many panorama pictures in HQ or SHQ mode. You are recommended to use SQ mode for panorama shooting. • During panorama shooting, the flash and sequential shooting modes are not available. • Panorama images are saved in HQ (compressed) format which has the same image size as RAW (uncompressed) and TIFF (uncompressed) when the record mode is set to [RAW] or [TIFF]. • If the mode dial is operated during panorama shooting, the camera cancels the panorama mode and returns to normal shooting. • The camera itself cannot connect panorama pictures. The OLYMPUS Master software is necessary to connect the pictures. 76

Make sure that the edges of the pictures overlap, then take
the pictures.
The focus, exposure and white balance are set by the first picture. Do not
select an extremely bright subject (such as the sun) for the first picture.
You cannot adjust the zoom after the first picture.
Panorama shooting is possible for up to 10 pictures.
