Advanced Setup-Continued Speaker Level Calibration 3 This setting is set automatically by the Automatic Speaker Setup function (see page 49). Here you can adjust the level of each speaker with the built-in test tone so that the volume of each speaker is the same at the listening position. Notes: • The speakers cannot be calibrated while the output of the AV receiver/AV amplifier is muted. • The test tone is output at the standard level for THX, which is 0 dB (absolute volume setting 82). If you normally listen at volume settings below this, be careful because the test tone will be much louder. 1 4 2-5 2, 3 1, 6 Use the Up and Down [R]/[X] buttons to select "4. Level Calibration", and then press [ENTER]. The "Level Calibration" menu appears and the pink noise test tone is output by the front left speaker. 2-4. Use the Up and Down [R]/[X] buttons to select each speaker, and use the Left and Right [F]/[S] buttons to set the volume. The volume can be adjusted from -12.0 to +12.0 dB (-15.0 dB to +12.0 dB for the subwoofer) in 0.5 dB steps. 1 Press the [RECEIVER] button fol- lowed by the [SETUP] button. Speaker Level Calibration
Here you can adjust the level of each speaker with the
built-in test tone so that the volume of each speaker is the
same at the listening position.
