Useful Information Problem I cannot operate the answering system remotely. Voice Mail Problem "New Voice Mail" is not displayed on the handset even though I have new messages in my voice mail service. Cause/solution L You are entering the wrong remote access code. If you forget the remote access code, store a new remote access code again (page 34). L Press each key firmly. L The answering system is turned off. Turn it on (page 34). L You are using a rotary/pulse telephone. Try again using a touch-tone phone. Cause/solution L Your service provider/telephone company needs to provide the signal for visual message waiting indicator. Consult your service provider/ telephone company of your Voice Mail service. L If you hear the "interrupted" dial tone, new messages are waiting. You can check if you have new messages by simply listening to the dial tone even if you cannot be provided the visual message waiting signal. L To use the Voice Mail service provided by your service provider/telephone company rather than the unit's answering system, turn off the answering system (page 30).
