H9420UD(p1-51).QX4 03.7.18 0:00 PM Page 51 Hi-Fi Stereo 51 Multi-Channel Television Sound system broadcasts are recorded in Hi-Fi stereo.To play in Hi-Fi stereo the tapes recorded in Hi-Fi stereo, follow these steps. 1 Press VCR, then press DISC/VCR/MENU. -MENU 1- BTIMER PROGRAMMING AUTO REPEAT [OFF] CHANNEL SET UP CLOCK SET LANGUAGE SELECT AUDIO OUT TV STEREO [ON] SAP 2 Press o or p to select AUDIO OUT. Then, press B. -MENU 1- TIMER PROGRAMMING AUTO REPEAT [OFF] CHANNEL SET UP CLOCK SET LANGUAGE SELECT BAUDIO OUT TV STEREO [ON] SAP 2-3 STANDBY-ON SEARCH MODE DISPLAY REPEAT REPEAT AUDIO A-B SUBTITLE ZOOM ANGLE SKIP / CH RETURN TITLE CLEAR/RESET SLOW DVD SYSTEM MENU VCR/TV VCR DISC/VCR MENU OK STOP PLAY PAUSE TIMER SET VCR Plus+ RECORD SPEED 1 45 89 2 3 67 0 +10 1,4 3 Press o or p to select HIFI. ON will appear beside HIFI. AUDIO OUT BHIFI [ON] MONO 4 Press DISC/VCR/MENU to remove the menu. Helpful Hints • Programs are recorded in both HiFi stereo sound and in monaural sound. • The audio level of a tape recorded in Hi-Fi stereo will differ from the audio level of a tape not recorded in Hi-Fi stereo. • You can change to MONO if you want monaural audio playback. Follow steps 1-2, then press o or p to select MONO. Press DISC/VCR/MENU. HIFI will disappear from the status display. • If you play non-Hi-Fi tapes while AUDIO OUT is set to HIFI, HIFI will not appear on the status display. The tape will play in monaural sound.
